 Online dating is always very risky as people can bend the truth about themselves slighty, at least with a match making agency from what i know the people that use them have been vetted.
I personally would go for the match making agency.

I would say that you would find good and bad everywhere you go for this kind of thing.Just make sure you step carefully and cauciouisly and make sure you do your best not expose your daughter to any danger. If you have a young daughter to look after I would place more of a priority on this and less of a priority on looking for the next bloke out there.Speaking from experience some of the best relationships with some of the best people tend to occur when you are not making such an effort to look for it.
