I've been finding it hard to get over an ex from years ago because I haven't dated anyone since (5 years) I barely get a kiss when I'm out because I'm quite big, I'd be about 250lb but am quite tall too but anyway how will I ever get close to someone as no one ever tries as I'm clearly too fat. reader, anonymous, writes (7 March 2009): is there something your interested in, perhaps a hobby or even something like hill walking or a sport? I'm not saying you should lose weight, however if you meet people in these contexts they are far less likely to judge you on something so shallow as your weight and by making more friends both male and female your also widening your social circle! best of luck xxx

 well as they say beauty lies in the eye of the beholder..there will be some jocks who just want looks and if their women are slutty but super sexy they dont really care but trust me such women just reach their bed and nowhere close to their heart..
firstly you feel beautiful,be yourself people will like you for what you are and not how you look..dont try and make yourself plastic
y dont u join some classes as in anything that interests you in that way u will find men who u share common interests with and it will be easy for you to interact..
u can always meet people through your friends they know u so they will also have an idea what kinda men u actually date

Hi dear.
First of all, remember that the beauty is a matter of taste: for ones you are too fat but for others you are sexy. Of course I won't lie and I have to admit that if you are a cute long legged skinny blond chic then you have much greater chances to get the attention...
Just don't try too hard, don't think about your chances, don't deperately seek for the right man, if you do that you will be agonizing over each small failure, you will be way too impatient and overreacting. Just don't think about it much, try to stay positive and be happy, be ok with yourself. Believe me, there is the rule that "the right person always show up when you expect that the least"...

 Have you tried joining groups, you must have something you are interested in? There are lots of groups and societies out there, with lots of people and I'm sure once you meet some like minded folks you'll eventually find love.
Get out there and have fun, love strikes when you least expect it, normally at a really bad time too!
