I have a bunch of questions about periods. Like, how long does the bleeding last? Or is it ok to stuff tissues in your underware? So if anyone has any websites about that stuff, please let me know.

Thanx

well i havnt started but you should wear a pad and not tissue because of the bleeding so like when blood gets onto a tissue it soaks through and spreads so i would use a pad not tissues!!!

I got my period when I was your age. Now I am fourteen and from experience, when you first get your period it will seem a little strange because you may have it for very long time periods...

I had mine once for almost 2 weeks.

This is normal for the first year of getting your period, so don't be scared if this happens to you.

but normally periods arrive once a month from 5-7 days.

At first it is a lot heavier (more blood) then towards the ending,, it lightens up.

Do not use napkins, they are too thin to completely absorb all of the blood and will leave you with a mess.

Use either pads or tampons whichever you are most comfortable with.

brooke5426 agony aunthi i did a quick google search for you. try this website out

basically, the bleeding lasts about 5 - 7 days roughly, there is usually more blood in the first couple of days then it gets lighter near the end. and about the tissue thing, you should use a sanitary towel or a tampon because there is a little bit too much blood for tissue alone to cope with.
