writes: me and my gf will be attempting to have sex for the first time, for both, soon. before she said that she only got her period about 4 times a year, but recently she started getting it every month, and she did around this week. i wanted to know, when wuold it be best to try and have sex. before her period? or right after it? any advice?

To be honest id have sex after her period, she will want to be uncomofortable, however use protection! she can get pregnant any time within her cycle

There is no real set best time to have sex. It's only when you feel like you want to have sex, as a couple. If you're both wanting to, then it shouldn't matter if it's before her period or after her period.
