i hate how it's silent with me and him. we've been going out for 2 days. we've known each other since middle school. when we're alone it's quiet. we're both not shy, but when we're together we just are! and when we're around people its usually like me talking to other people and i hardly even say anything to him and vise versa. i try to talk to him. but i just like him so much and i don't know what to say. what can i do to get it not quiet? what could i do to spark it up a bit? i really like him and i want this to work.

Dear Poster

I think you are both probably a little tense and nervous; try to relax and maybe listen to some music together or watch a video and that will also give you something to talk about; his favorite music and his favorite movies etc.

Try to think of him as a friend and just be yourself; the rest will follow naturally.

Best wishes and keep SMILING.
