2. Usually when I hear that it's coming from a guy I'm interested in, dating, or a current flame. However, I never said it to another guy..I say it to my husband when he is away from me going to schools for his training in the army. So whenever I use it or it's been used around me it's in the "I like you, I miss you" sense.

D. All of the above! It just depends on the situation and person. I'll say it to my girlfriends because I haven't seen them in a long time and sometimes I get busy or they're busy, but just want to let them know that I still value their friendship.
However, if I say it to a guy; that's a different story. If I tell him I've been thinking about him, it's usually because I "like" him. If it's a guy who is just my friend and I don't view romantically, I won't tell him I'm thinking about him because I wouldn't want him to get the wrong idea. But if it's a guy I'm interested in (and he's not my boyfriend) I'll tell him I'm thinking about him, I guess it's a light way of flirting on my end.
