writes: i just completed my very first pack of loestrin 24 fe and i took my first brown pill today. when should i expect my period? i started my pack the day after my period ended-so day one of my cycle and ive ovulated this month which i thought wasnt supposed to happen. AND changed my time of taking it after the first week because taking it at night made me nauseas. so ive had a few complications but the last 3 weeks ive been strictly taking it everyday same time and been having sex with my boyfriend without a condom. basically, im waiting for my first period on the pill to come so that i know im not pregnant and everything is okay. when am i supposed to get it? im getting a little worried!

reader, anonymous, writes (4 September 2010): Being on Loestrin myself, I wouldn't freak out until after you've taken the last brown pill. Again, it completely depends on your medical history and how regular/irregular you are. My own doctor informed me that it would usually hit the first time after the last brown pill (I was also on my very first pack), so give it a few more days and then call your doctor to make sure everything is okay! reader, anonymous, writes (4 September 2010): It's hard to say when exactly youre going to get it with you having complications and all. If it is a 28 pack then you should expect it sometime during the start of the last week of pills. Again if you've had complications and haven't thoroughly taken it the same time every day, it could alter your period start time. If you need any other questions answered, try calling your Doc's office. It may seem embarrassing at first, but believe me, checking with thems always best. Good luck!
