A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I don't know what I am doing, there is a guy I work with whom I have been attracted to since I first saw him, we have been flirting for a couple of years (yes years) we finally snogged but I was rubbish I completely froze (my hands were shaking and I didn't really respond), I know he just wants a bit of fun nothing serious obviously I want more but today I just thought if that's all that's on offer then fine but when it came to it I was like a rabbit in headlights, I have never had a boyfriend because I don't think I am good enough and this guy wanted me and I just wish I could have went for it more but I really didn't know what I was doing and it showed, he initially wanted a bit more but he decided just a snog and a feel first but I was rubbish and couldn't stop shaking, I don't know if he noticed my hands shaking, he text me to say we should do it again but I am worried I will just be the same, he was quite forward and is very expeienced when it comes to woman. HELP welcome.

First and foremost you need to gain a little more self confidence. Dont ever think you are 'not good enough' for a boyfriend. And there is nothing wrong with being nervous your first time doing anything with anyone. What you have to do now is take the initiative and tell him that you enjoyed that experience with him and cant wait to do it-and other things- some more. Then as things progress he can help you gain some 'experience'. I think you will be fine! Good Luck and let me know how it goes.
