You definitely need to go to your doctor and get this checked out. I understand that we can't give medical advice on a website, but it could be endometriosis. Debilitating menstrual pain can be a symptom. The only way to know is to go to the doctor. Not to worry, it's easy to treat when they catch it in time. However it can be dangerous if it's ignored... you definitely need to go to a doctor ASAP. There are many remedies for severe menstrual pain.
Hot baths help a lot, too.

Also a hot water bottle on your stomach can help with the pains.

Talk to your Gp! They can often recommend something. They can recommend what kind of pain killers work best or if there's anything else that they can do to soften the pain! :) I used to suffer with absolutely AWFUL back aches whenever i had my period. And it's true that sometimes contraceptive pills DO help, but sometimes parents can feel unhappy about putting teenage girls on it, but it's for the best all around actually!! Be open with your mum. Ask her to go to the doctors with you to talk about it so you can both have any answers you may need!
And if things get stressful, remind ur mum that you have a legitimate reason to want to find out about the contraceptive pill regardless of your reasons, and at least you're being honest to her and not going behind her back about it all! And be sure to reinforce the reasoning behind it. :) Hopefully you'll be fine. xx
