reader, anonymous, writes (7 December 2009): I hear that where date of conception is known, eg artificial insenination or, if you like, once off sex, one looks at 266 days.Try Google on "Human Gestation".It can be a troublesome one for a guy if there trust issues.Only DNA will tell for sure.

It's too confusing for me to figure out; that's the best I can do. It's either from the first day of the woman's last menstrual period (LMP) or from 14 days before conception (fertilization).
I assume you are doubting you're the father? I hope things turn out okay for you! Good luck.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 December 2009): gestation is calculated from first day of her last menstrual perion NOT the day of conception, so assuming she has an average cycle, conception would have been around 13-16th july. middle of july, that sort of time, of course you cant be too accurate, not knowing her cycle. so if u do suspect 'foul play' this can't prove anything.
