Distance can be a bit hard Tommy Have you Thought about meeting half way ? And at a place like a coffee house or something like that... I cant see she would be annoyed at having to meet half way as its both of you making the effort then to see one another. Or find somewhere near her neck of the woods, that you could hang out thats nuetral and pretty public and travel up yourslef in the AM and then see how you get on and then take the train or whatever transport you decided on later on that day ?
I think the meeting in the middle is the best bet though to safe you both having to do the whole distance, plus you will both feel at ease being completely neutral. Less pressure, but make sure its a vibrant place.
Take care x x

tommy2k7 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWhat if she lives one and a half hours away? It's a bit hard to go and pick her up by train and then drop her off again in a day

Take her somewhere with a nice atmosphere with people around where you can have a drink and talk, maybe a meal afterwards if everything goes well. You'll be able to see if the chemistry is there between you both and see whether you both feel comfortable chatting and getting to know one another better.

I would say somewhere relatively neutral and not too intimate but somewhere that allows for conversation and 'getting to know you'. Obviously somewhere public so both parties are secure and comfortable. A pub or a mall, a cafe or a pizza place; something like that. A cinema is ok but the drawback is that opportunities for conversation are limited once the film starts.

Therefore it will not be a personal area to you, so she will know that you won't try anything on her. and same the other way.
