A definite turn-off. Texting me 24-7, trying to buy my love with materialistic things, texting no-stop, and overloading me with compliments is a guy who is trying way TOO hard and a bit clingy. This is foreshadowing of what is to come in a relationship, a guy who is just too into me, possibly possessive, controlling, and will be hard to break up with down the road.

Hard to say, never met a man like that, I think I would gag though, it seems a bit much.
I don't like the idea of a guy thinking he can "buy" my good graces.
The texting all the time - huge no-no for me.
Compliments are great, but when overused they seem meaningless.
All in moderation, I'd say.
Now a guy with great sense of humor and manners! That is a whole other kettle of fish!

I think this depends on the woman as an individual. I personally wouldn't like a guy to text me literally all of the time or just show up unexpected all the time at my place. I think there is a limit. What do you mean by constantly all over you?
The extent to which they are texting all of the time and what the gifts are etc would determine if it was a turn on or a turn off for me.
