Sometimes when I squeeze it, it goes like a normal spot would but other times it doesn't and just shows as a large dark red blotch. I'm not sure if it's a boil or wart and why it keeps coming back. It's really embarrassing and I hate anyone, including people I know, seeing it.I know it's not the best thing but I've poked it with a sterile piercing needle in the hopes it'll open it up to release whatever's in there (it sometimes feels kind of soft-ish and like it's full of blood or something) and all that happens is that it bleeds a lot.does anyone know what it could be and how to get rid of it fast rather than walking round with this lump on my face? Thanks in advance. Since leaving it alone after asking this question the inflammation has gone right down. I did some research and it turns out I have a nodule.
Thanks for the help :)

See a Doctor, it does sound like a boil, which is easily treated, but without seeing it and prodding it a bit there is no way to tell for sure.
Please don't use panoxyl(I don't like contradicting other posters normally) as that is a very potent acne treatment, and can cause severe skin irritation (I think it's prescription only in the UK).
Also squeezing and prodding with needles is a bad idea as your face is so close to your brain and you don't want to get an infection there! Also it may lead to scaring.

PLEASE, go see a skin doctor! They are called dermatologists and stop picking, sticking, scraping and obsessing about this spot or you are going to end up with a permanent scar on your face and you won't like that....
Go see a doctor! Who knows what it is, but I am sure there is a teatment and a cure for it....it could even possibly be skin cancer, so you don't want to mess around with "spots" on your face or body....go get it checked out pronto!
