We go to the same University but live quite far away from each other so we've been trying to keep in contact and it's going quite well.We talk every day and we're always very jokey towards each other but the problem is.. He never really acts sweet or romantically - like the typical way a guy would act towards a girl he likes- which surprises me and makes me second guess his feelings. But then again we're always in contact...What's the problem? Is it just how he is? Just because we're far apart? Or something else?

 Or maybe he only sees you as a friend? I know for sure if I liked a girl I'd be at least trying to flirt or subtly show her my feelings.
If you're not getting that vibe, maybe he's just not interested? Maybe try to show your feelings a little and see if he reciprocates...
