A female South Africa age 30-35, anonymous writes:

if a guy flirted with a girl non verbally. But she does not give in, after some weeks. they become friends. But he does not talk to her... only looks at her. So the girl ignores him. After a weeks he comes back all nonverbal.

but she ignores him ... he goes away. BUT after 8 months... suddenly one fine day he says hi to her with a smile and eyebrows raised. the girl replies...

the next day in college , he makes eager attempts to talk to her. But at one attempt when he was looking out for her in class. HE noticed her LAUGHING at him... after some mins when she encounters him ... he does not look at her,

after some weeks she talk to him. he seems fine and friendly .

the girl thought the GUY likes me... but it seems like he is not interested I her... so she ignores him.

Do you think the guy liked the girl.

but when she started to talk to him... he is friendly but looks like not interested ... WHY ?

A reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2009):

Maybe he has got fed up with not talking and wanted to talk to her, by the time he had got past the silent treatment of guessing he had fallen asleep? (from a flirtation perspective), maybe he just wanted her to say "hi would you like to go for a coffee?" rather than trying to guess each others body language....

and yes probably liked the girl - but the girl could just ask him? if he liked her and wanted to go out?
