Season tickets. I think Season tickets are the best presents ever... they can be tickets to anything! You could get Season tickets to the theater (if she likes seeing plays), or to a sport that she likes, or even somewhere silly like to the zoo. Maybe concert tickets!
If this is a girlfriend, I always thought it would be fun to receive gift certificates to different restaurants (maybe her favorite ones) so that you two can go on dates to a variety of places and she doesn't have to pay.
Other ideas: jackets or sneakers. Everyone needs nice jackets and sweet sneakers. Perhaps a scarf/hat/glove set, as it's starting to get a little chilly out... maybe you could make her a really cool mix CD and buy her a funky CD player to put in her house (you can find CD players for cheap in lots of funky colors and shapes).
You could get her a piece of framed art to put on her wall... or you could try to make some yourself (even if you're a lousy artist, have fun trying to make something anyways). You could get her a watch (who doesn't like watches?).
Okay, those are all my ideas for now, but I've got an endless supply. Let me know if you need more suggestions!

reader, anonymous, writes (11 November 2007): It will depend on what she's into, but here are a few suggestions: CDs/ DVDs, if she's a sporty type something to do with that sport, cinema tickets, or tickets to a theme/ adventure park, you could get her paints if she is a bit of an artist, or music if she's a musician and even if she's not that dressy you could try getting her a new top that's her style or perhaps a belt or something.... The possibilities are endless!!! Hope this inspired you!!

 Ok I dont wear makeup, Im not the type to wear jewelery, But I love having fun.... My ideal gift would have to be a tool box full of tools! However I think you would be better off getting her an adventyre gift. maybe a a**os package, rock climbing, or drive a supercar for a day or something like that. To be honest it depends on how long you have been dating and how much you have to spend also if she is girly or tomboyish. Yo dont have to go really unusual, as long as you put thought into it whatever you get her will be perfect.I have a question fo ryou though. I never know what to get my husband for xmas? What do guys like in a gift?
