What would be positive signs that he's interested in me?

Question - (14 July 2012) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 July 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I work with a man 10 years younger than myself, and, over time, have become attracted to him. I get the feeling he is interested as well. I have seen him watching me every now and then, he'll find me working somewhere and start chatting away, tries to make me smile and laugh when I'm not feeling top notch, when my boyfriend and I broke up he jokingly suggested taking me out for a night on the town (which I stupidly brushed off), and he recently asked me how I was getting on with moving into my new place, and told me if I needed help, I just had to ask.

I love conversing with him, and have a lot of fun being around him, and don't feel that there is an age gap at all. It seems childish to ask, but I'm not sure that the few examples I've listed above are positive signs that he might be interested in me. I've been out of the dating game for quite some time, so I am fairly clueless when it comes to flirting and potential attraction. How might I go about suggesting we spend time together outside of the workplace without putting myself out there too much. (it is ok to date in our workplace, and I am aware of the risks that go along with dating in the workplace....willing to take that chance on this guy). Not looking to jump into something serious right away...just taking things slow, having fun, and seeing where that leads.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
