I would like to get a meaningful present for him as a congratulations for when he passes. I'm not sure what I should get him; what would be appropriate. We dated, he cheated, we remain friends and both have admitted to still having feelings for each other (however he seems determined to move on, I wish that wasn't the case). I would really appreciate any suggestions the Aunts and Uncles may have! Thanks

The thing is that he is very shy, not comfortable in social situations.
I was thinking of taking him out somewhere, but don't want him to think it's a date lest he feel pressured.
I would really like to do something special for him though b/c this is a very big accomplishment and I am very proud of him.
