What do they do? is it like a vaginal swab or something?A friend told me you get an injection down there too, is that true?

I've never experienced or heard of any injection "down there."I know some of it sounds uncomfortable, but the peace of mind will be worth it, so good for you going in and getting checked out. reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2009): Your gf is a nut.. they don't inject you!... they will do a full make up of tests... its ok.. just breath... I mean that, consentrate on your breathing... and relax. they will tell you to undress from the waist down.. and give you a paper gown that you freeze your ass off in... (really) they keep it like -15 degrees and hand you a paper gown.... the doctor comes in with a nurse and tells you step by step what he/she is going to do. they will tell you to lie back and scoot your bottom down to the edge of the table.then put your legs in the styrups... btw_keep your sockies on.. those things are freezing too.he will then tell you he is touching the inside of your thigh with his hand and he is placing his other hand ont he outside of your vajayjay and applying k-y and he is going to insert the speculum... he will say your going to feel some pressure and to just relax...then he will take a q-tip swab and barely touch the inside of your vagina... you may barely feel it if at all... he will do this with a couple of swabs...he will then tell you he is going to place one hand on your abdomin and check your overies.... this part sucks and is way uncomfortable but not pain .. just get out of me type of thing... then if all is well your done and stuck with yet another mess to clean up... (blech)... its ok... and remember to use protection so you don't have to worrie about this... so get some condomes while your there and tell the man... "no glove no love"... if his response is "its a mans world ... tell him to go use his man hand, this is a womans vagina" mine to be specific!
