So after I graduated from college (maybe around a month) I got a follow request from him on instagram. I accepted his follow request. I posted an update n he liked it. I checked out who he was following and I saw that there were few of his male friends and just me. I also checked out his followers there were no girls other than me following him.  I would infer that he (or someone pretending to be him) added you on instagram and he 'liked' one update of yours. Beyond that? Well, time may tell. But for now, all you know is that he's keen on getting new followers on instagram.
I wouldn't assume much beyond that as he hasn't done much beyond push a few keys on his keyboard.
I hope you have lots of other friends to keep you busy and occupied! :)
