A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi guys,

Soo I like my best friends brother, I have know him for a few months and we attend the same college. He is older and is a junior. We hadn't started really talking until around mid-October. After that we would have a small conversation or at least a hey, how are you when he came around. Then during December, he Facebook chatted me for the first time and we talked. Then a few days later, he told his sister to tell me hi. I don't want to overanalyze anything, but hey I can't help it at time. What should I think of this?

Thanks,

Najika

Thanks!

You're right, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Recently I went to their apartment, a few minutes away from college to stay the night, and the next day, before going back to my dorm, he told me that I should come over more often.

Soo, maybe, we'll see....

Snowshoe agony auntHe probably likes you as well. He may be figuring out whether or not his sis will be bugged with him if he asks you out. He is also thinking that if he does get involved and then goes south with you will his Sis forgive him.

I can say this as a fella who over the years has dated a couple of my own sisters friends. As teenagers it bugged her as adults she just let her friend know it's buyer beware.

You could ask your friend if he has expressed any interest in you and if yes then ask if she would be bugged if you went out with him. If she says she doesn't want you to she may know something about his temperment that you don't as his Sis. On the other hand she could say have fun and you go from there. Best of Luck
