hey! i know this is after valentines day lol, but i was just a bit curious...i love my teacher too! :D did you get him anything? i got mine a christmas present and it went down well! he teaches me guitar, so i brought him a little guitar on a stand and its green (one of his fav colours) and he said he was touched! after the holidays he told me had had put it next to his tv with a green candle on the other side so it matches XDXDXDXD!! and he didnt even have to tell me that, but he did, and it was amazing! so if you didnt get him anything, maybe think about christmas? rofl :) x

reader, anonymous, writes (22 February 2009): I know it's a bit late, but you shouldn't get him anything, it could get taken the wrong way, or freak him out totally! Valentine's Day is for crushes/couples, not just because you "appreciate" someone.

you shouldn't get your teacher anything, because that it crossing boundaries. you are a student. you mean nothing more then that to the teacher. at the end of the day they go home and forget about work and their students. there are no emotional ties with them and you. you need to forget about this teacher, cause it won't ever happen.

At your age of 16/17, for many men it's an awkward age, especially for teachers. By giving you teacher something on Valentines Day would create an unnecessary awkward position which you may want to avoid.

Valentines is about love, being in love, sex, and all that stuff.
There is nothing you can get a teacher without it coming across like you have a crush.
Wait till the end of term and get them a better present then instead.
