I never really spoke to my class because I never got along with them, and I don't want to seem like an outcast.I do have friends, obviously, and I do chat to my class, just I run out of things to say. I am never good with parties, as I don't really enjoy them. What should I do to spark up a conversation?

It isn't necessary to "entertain" everyone around you in order to have a conversation. It's normal that some people are comfortable talking, but it's probably MORE normal to be shy in a crowd. People being afraid to talk in front of a crowd is the number one fear, Death is number two! Small talk is a learned skill, and most people are a bit uncomfortable with it. The easiest way to start a conversation is to ask people about themselves. People always love to talk about themselves! ;-) Then, just take it from there! Remember to include other people around you, not interrupt, and make sure that you talk to people on either side of you, not just one side all night, switch back and forth a few times. If the music isn't too loud, you can even address people across from you, but the most important thing is not to ignore those sitting immediately on either side of you. Hope this helped a little bit and Ask them what they are doing next year! :-D
