reader, anonymous, writes (25 September 2012): Um, I'm assuming you're under the drinking age. This is my own belief, so feel free to disregard what I have to say, but getting drunk and having a good time aren't too synonymous - because you'll have a hangover and maybe do some things you'll regret (e.g. spilling a secret, hooking up with someone, etc).
Why don't you go shopping, go the city, enjoy dinner with friends or family, have some delicious cake? Why anticipate your 19th birthday if you're not going to remember it by drinking yourself drunk?
