writes:I dated a guy a couple years ago that is 12 years older than me. We were great together until my parents found out and then everything went down hill and our relationship crumbled. I didnt see or talk to him for over a year. When i did see him again he was dating a girl and they were about to get married. I have seen and talked to him several times since then. We have gotten to be really great friends again. His wife is now pregnant with his child. Last month she left him for no reason. Now that he is alone we have been seeing each other more. I am falling for him again and he wants to be with me. I dont have a problem with him having a child now. I dont want to be the home wrecker that messes up his family. My family will go crazy if they knew i was talking to him again. But i love him. and he loves me. What should i do? I want to be with him! Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2009): You are a little older now and after a certain age, it isnt as big of a deal to be dating someone older. If you are happy and in love with this man then be happy. You cant let the opinion of others decide your future. Tell your family that although you love them and respect their opinions you have to do what feels right to you.
