angelbabe agony auntI would recommend a scary film, its a good way of getting you two close together and then even if you don't put your arm around her she will come close to you when shes scared anyway, then you can put your arm on her. but try to because girls love it when boys do that. your best bet would be to stick with doing that for the first time round.

Have fun

well, if you see a scary movie, a girl will either pretend to be scared or actually be scared and will show you this by shuffling in her seat, glancing at you a lot, or looking away from the screen. if she does any of these, put your arms around her. if you go to see a comedy, dont laugh at every single thing. if its funny and everyone else is laughing then fair enough, but too much could scare a girl off. and usually if a girl wants to go see a romantic film, a boy moans and says he doesnt want to, that is soo not the way to go if you want to impress this girl. if she wants to see it just see it, you might enjoy it. and as for impressing girls at cinemas, just be yourself! being fake doesnt get you anywhere! good luck :)

Perhapse see a film that is not a romance, something neautral like "spiderman" for example.

Try and be a proper genteleman, buy her popcorn and all of that.

Go with the flow of the evening, maybe try and hold her hand so its not as corny as the old arm round the shoulder.

Be yourself and have a laugh, Im sure she will love you.

Its_X_ agony auntGood job on asking the girl out! That's awesome. Movie-wise, you should get her opinion, see what she wants to go see and then agree with her. Girls don't usually want to see a gory action film on the first date. You should pay for the date also, buy the tickets and the popcorn or whatever you two want. Put your arm around her, its really sweet and shows you care. Good luck on the date.
