A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

What do you do when your best friend that you like talks to his friends more than you? When hes in a group he stares and I threw a random object at him and he smiled. he always makes it seem like he wants to talk to me and when I get home he talks to me online for a short period of time. Sometimes says bye to me. I'm afraid that he will end up liking one of the friends he has who is a girl. I'm not like obesessed with him but i still have a crazy notion that we could get together. His brother and sister loves me. he sometimes stands around me whn hes on my side of the room. I am totally positive that he likes me in some way. People always ask him if he has a girl he likes or girlfriend and he says no. We almost touched hands last week and i felt like we were finally moving forward. I guess not! :(

visione agony auntAre you reading his liking-you as more than what he means? Could it be he just really likes you as a close friend? You should ask him directly so you won't keep asking yourself "if" questions.

You state that he is your best friend - he might feel awkward moving it further.
