Alarm bells are ringing at the fire dept....

Maybe it's all perfectly innocent, but there's a fine line between being trustful and being completely stupidly blind to the obvious, which many men (and women) have erred on the wrong side of, many times. Perhaps you could make another unexpected visit to her at work - there's no law against popping in to see your wife for a cup of tea, if she's not cheating she should be glad to see you. If all seems well, then maybe everything really is above board. If she seems guilty or furtive and has a hard time looking you in the eye, you're right to be suspicious. If you see or hear anything blatantly incriminating, you've got your answer. Good luck

In all honesty, it sounds like you caught them in a compromising position. What did she have to say when you walked in the kitchen? If it wasn't we were just held up and we are freaking out, then it seems kinda shady. It seems like the 2 of them were in the kitchen possibly just kissing or something and you walked in on it. Have you confronted your wife? I suggest sitting down and finding out what is going on. Hope this helps.

Was the person that "popped up" a man or woman?
If it was a man, then I think alarm bells should start ringing. They could be ahaving an affair.
How do you know your wife wasn't shaking becasue she was shocked at something or possible injured?
Can you enlighten us further of the situation please.
