writes: What reasons can a mobile phone company cut off your mobile phone for? My boyfriend who didn’t contact me for 3 days said that his mobile got cut off, but I didn’t realise they could do that unless it was for something really serious. As far as I know he has a contract phone that he pays £30 a month for and I don’t think he has any problems paying his bills. I personally think there is the possibility that there is more to this than he is letting on. I will be asking him why his phone got cut off, but I also want to get my facts straight before I confront him. Unless he meant the battery went flat but I think he meant the mobile phone company cut him off. I am determined to get to the bottom of this. Reply to this Question Share |

He could have forgotten to pay the bill or was late with the payment. Is he working/living in an area with bad signal?Just don't start jumping to conclusions just yet. Give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Hmmm, I don't know how it works in your country, but there are many reasons why a 'phone company' can drop a client.
In our country (USA) the phone companies have been dropping people for making complaints! If a caller complains more than 4 times in a month...they can "legally"
drop you from their roster of clients. This is being challenged here in the courts, but it is a reality.

It can take up to 72 hours sometimes before they reconnect you. Sometimes when your free minuites run out or if you use up all your call time allowence phone companies cut you off. It also could be that his phone contract ended and they cut him off untill he renewed it. Dont worry- if this doesnt happen all the time-he is most likley telling you the truth:) .. maybe his fianances aint as good as you think they are ..maybe he is a little tight on cash and just doesnt want to worry you .. the male ego works in weird ways and male pride takes over!..god bless friend x
