I'm coming home for Easter which will be the first time we'll see each other in four months (which was also when we were definitely flirting a lot at Christmas).I had been keeping in touch since the new year, emailing him and sometimes calling him on the phone, just saying hi and asking how he's been doing and telling him how I've been. Absolutely nothing for two months straight!! Before we met for Christmas, he was usually really good with emails, replying them fairly quickly and teasing/flirting with me; it was great. So, me naturally getting PO'ed, I start to back off, not contacting him for weeks at a time (which was sooo hard!!!) He FINALLY responds to one of my emails as I teased him about the weather (I live in the south and he lives in the northeast). Then another, saying it was good news that I was going to be home for Easter. I'm thinking, oh he's back to his old self again, so I start emailing him a bit more, just keeping in touch. Now it seems he's backed off again as we haven't talked for over two weeks. What's his deal?? If he likes me (which I honestly think he does), why play hard to get? Why do I have to do all the work? It seems when I back off he finally comes around. He's very shy (as am I), so with me contacting him, does he get kind of scared and that's why he ignores me? What's going on?
