writes:OK, so I've been seeing a lot of posts here about guys and their penis size, and the depth of the vagina.It's been my experience that the vagina elongates during sex. I say "experience" from what I've read, and what I feel when I'm having sex (although "opening up" is amore realistic "feeling" I get). However, many posts here talk about a womans vagina only being 4-6 inches deep, even when aroused. So how come the majority of women who have had sex with a big guy (like 8 inches or more) can take most or all of it? I've never been with a woman yet who didn't take at least 7. And those girls in porn...I estimate they all take 8 or 9 inches easy. I'm sure it feels very full, maybe uncomfortable or painful but it all gets in. Are women really shallow, or are scientists underestimating how much the vagina stretches? I have no idea what is a comfortable penetration depth for most women. I'd say 6-7", but I'm sure that varies too. Actually, I know it does.

 Coming back to agree with others. Certainly, most women would never enjoy 10-pound penises, and a "normal" length of about 5-7 inches and a healthy girth is probably most comfortable. The old adage is, "It's not the size, but what you can do with it." Better yet, what can you do with your tongue beforehand? Stop worrying about size and get on with it!

 Ok so i recently gave birth to a 8lb 4oz baby with no pain killers and trust me it hurt like hell, so yea our bodies adapt to giving birth and can take a big dick but that doesnt mean we should or want to do it every day. My partner has the perfect sized penis (6-7") meaning hes just big enough to reach the end but not big enough for it to hurt.I was rapped by a guy who was bigger than this and even though i took it all it hurt a shit load. we can expand but it doesnt usually feel any good, it usually just hurts.

 Everyone else has things pretty well covered, but to add something. The average length of a vagina is 6 in. Is there variation in that? The average length of penis is 6 in. Does that mean ALL men are 6 in? No, it doesn't. And there's that funny correlation thing, both averages are the same length. Coincidence? I think not. Also it's very unhealthy to compare anything about real women to porn women. Porn women also moan in pleasure when they get raped, slapped, whipped, bitten, double penetrated, etc... So yeah, they take a 12 in one all the way. But it could be super painful. It's just ALWAYS a bad idea to compare anything to porn. Also in my experience, women prefer a smaller one (average size really) while men always want a HUGE one. But that's not what women want, men just perpetuate it for some weird reason. You seem to be kind of obsessed with how real women compare to porn women and how much penis they can gobble up (like in porn). Do you think maybe you've been watching a wee bit too much? Also you call women who are 6 inches "shallow." Does that mean men who are 6 inches are small? Because you just right there called the majority the weirdos.

 Sigh.. you got a big hang up with your penis... and you probably don't listen when the woman says it's uncomfortable... Women are not "shallow" (don't know what that means) But since your not on the recieving end of a big cock, I suggest you listen when some of the ladies say it's too big.
Ask you partner, but for other women, the prefer the penis a big smaller, or like a man who knows how not to thrust too deep.
Yes, the vagina can open to the size of a babies head, but do them women look happy, or do they scream and cry in pain.

 May I add on to the answer by DoubleM? He raises a very good point. That a woman can give birth to a baby right through that vaginal canal. And most babies are larger than most penises.
Now, I think that most women aren't screaming with pleasure as they give birth to a 10 lb baby. Their bodies, their vaginas and pelvic bones accomodate the transition of the baby.
The point is that their body manages the stresses of childbirth. You've obviously spent a lot of time thinking about penile penetrations of vaginas. I think if you spent 10 or 15 minutes pondering the mysteries of childbirth, you'd probably recognize the fantastic elastic properties of the vagina. I mean, expelling a baby shouldn't be possible in a canal that can only stretch 4-6 inches, right? And yet it happens everyday.
