However I know If I don't message, then the others wouldn't. They'll only message if they need something. Especially if THEY ask for your Blackberry ID thing so that they can add you. What is the point? What's the point of adding 500 friends on your facebook if your not going to chat to them , or actually, if your only going to message some of them probably just once or twice a year. Why are people so selfish? is this human nature? Is this what us humans are destined to do?

What I've noticed with Facebook is that it is almost like a competition to show who is most popular. It seems to be a boost to one's self esteem, as in 'Look how popular I am' Ive seen profiles with 'Friends' in the thousands. I usually think 'Im never going know that many people in my life, let alone have them as friends'I only have about 50 friends and do communicate with them... someone occasionally in some cases, regularly in others. I say Quality over quantity any day, and dont feel like you have to try a compete, adding 'friends' who you dont even know.Id rather not have several hundred (or thousands) of people knowing about what Im doing thanks very much ;) !

This is why I don't bother with facebook and all that stuff. It's all fake in the end. Meaningless. I wouldn't worry too much about it. All you need to do for your life is make sure you don't live in facebook.
