 Without knowing what a 'maggotty' smell is its a job to know :o) Could be a million and one things - most of them innocent but the best answer anyone can give is to go see your Doctor, you are entitled to ask for an appointment with a female Dr, failing that go and see your local sexual health clinic (number in yellow pages)
As a young woman its a good idea to get yourself acquainted with both these health professionals.
