Sex is, or should be considered, what two mature individuals who love each other do together to relieve each other's tensions and provide great pleasure and enjoyment. Young people arrive at a point in life when interest in others can become sexual, which typically involves the most private areas of our bodies. It is best to resist too much involvement with opposite genders as long as possible because one result may be teenage pregnancy. This situation often leads to all kinds of life changing problems. But once individuals reach maturity and attain the proper wisdom to make adult decisions, sex becomes one of the most valuable gifts of life. Its value should be respected.

Most schools offer this information around your age. Your sophomore year you'll have biology, that should clear some of this up. Or you could ask one or both of your parents.
