reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2009): I don't think the hymen breaking feels like anything. Girls' hymens break for many more reasons than just sex, such as tampons, hard excersize and gymnastics and I don't believe they feel it when it does.
It hurts i believe because of the streching. It's likely to be the largest thing (depending of the man of course) that has entered that particular orphus and so you have to get used to it. It's not unbearable for most girls and doesn't last for the entire session or very often after the first time. Lubrication can help and always use protection.

 Hmm.. I think its the stretching, because when I lost my virginity my hymen was already broken, (I'm not sure how but I didnt bleed at all and I never have), so I think it's just because its stretching because if you think about it you've never had anything that big up there..
