My current girlfriend has long blonde hair and I love it. It's so soft and straight. However, my last girlfriend had black, curly hair and even though it wasn't as soft it really framed her face and she got compliments on it all of the time. Red hair is nice, too. You are asking whether Rita Hayworth (red), Grace Kelly (blonde), or Elizabeth Taylor (black) is prettiest based on their hair. I think they were all gorgeous. If you're not a blonde don't sweat it and if you are then maybe these men are flirting with you. In my opinion (and those of my male friend) it's not the color of the hair, but the length. Men like long hair whatever color. Occasionally a girl will look better with short hair (e.g. Winona Ryder) but in general long hair is best.

Well, just my idea, it's sort of blonde hair is sort of youth and glamour and Marilyn Monroe and Doris Day if you see what I mean. You have the Barbie doll and the white/blonde color looks clean and pure. So although it is probably a powerful illusion, it is a good illusion. Blonde has that hollywood look!

It gives me a nice summery look all year long. My boyfriend has always loved brunettes but for the first time, he is dating a blond! LOL He said my hair is eye catching and friendly looking ;)

There are higher numbers of females born blonde than males, and retention of blonde hair into adulthood is a sexually selected indicator of fitness in females.
Blonde women usually have slightly higher oestrogen levels than brunettes, and are likely to exhibit other infantile sexually selected traits (indicating low levels of testosterone) that are considered desirable by males. For example finer facial features, a smaller nose, smaller jaw, pointed chin, narrow shoulders, smooth skin and less body hair, and infantile behaviour such as higher energy levels and playfulness.
Recent surveys suggest that men prefer blondes for girlfriends, but would rather marry a brunette though! Bear in mind that all these are just theories. More often than not, things are quite different in practice - and luckily so. After all, if it wasn't the case, the world would stop turning. There's someone for everyone of course, regardless of what hair colour you have :) Hope this helped x

I much prefer brunettes and I love red heads! This isn't something you should worry about. I'm sure your hair colour doesn't make you any less attractive to the opposite sex.
