A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (24 April 2008):

Don't ever argue with a friend over a boy, it is never worth it.

He's probably just playing a game and flirting with both of you. He's probably not really interested in either of you.

He might just be a flirty guy. Either way just don't take him seriously.

Take his compliments and then take that confidence and flirt with some other guys.

Good Luck!! xx

A female reader, Susan Strict United Kingdom +, writes (24 April 2008):

Susan Strict agony auntHe's probably only playing, and why not? You say he's flirting; well, that's fine. If and when it becomes a seriously relationship with either of you, then that would be a different matter. Right now it's fun; it's a game. He doesn't seem to be taking it seriously, so you shouldn't take it seriously either. Just enjoy it.
