writes: I met a guy at the beginning of the year at a college group who has stared ever since we saw each other. I am talking more than a few seconds. It's like 5 minutes whether I return it or not. One time he stopped in the middle of the kitchen when we were all leaving and stared, waiting until I stared back for a minute, then left. He did it to my friends too but stopped with them after a while and began to focus on me. After a while he started coming around but not saying anything. Eventually one night I said "Hi" when he sat next to us and he responded and then left. He is incredibly confident in himself, but is also a humble and VERY independent person (especially socially). After we spent some more time together he began to flirt, but I wasn't sure I liked him. He would try to touch me and if I tried to stop him he would wait until I gave up and then try again or would just wait until I wasn't looking and then came back. Later I discovered the moment I decided I was interested in him he knew. Go figure. I told him I liked him, he kinda poked fun at me, and we said goodnight. He has not said a word about it since, but continues his staring and flirting. I think he has tried to compliment me, but being the awkward person he is it usually comes out like, "Your hair is curly today..." or tries to get me to notice him by explaining how he made his shorts. It seems he is always looking for excuses to touch my hair(which I do not whole-heartedly appreciate. I don't like being touched and he knows that), from the first time we hung out. We don't talk much, but we keep in touch and hang out from time to time. We have both invited each other places... Recently we went to the beach with a few friends and my Mom and he clung to her and talked to her all night. Usually he hardly talks at all! So what is his deal? Does he like me or what is going through his head? Sorry for the book, kind of difficult for me to explain in few words.

Sounds a bit creepy actually. If he likes you he will say but from what you say he sounds a bit odd
