Well anywho, I HAVE been on a hormone replacement meds which only lasted 2 weeks with taking it and that has been over 2 weeks ago and I've been trying to get pregnant. My nipples hurt so much that even touching them or having my husband suck on the makes me scream in pain. I don't know what to do about them other than putting my boobs in a bra and NOT even have anything touch them still. The nipples are a pink-ish red color, and the area around it is a dark tan color. It's not just one nipple it's both. Before the soreness came I was able to squeeze out some clear liquid out of my nipple. The soreness is not all over my boobs it's just in my nipples. If you are wondering I do have a doc appointment. What can be going on with me??? How can I make them feel better till my doc appointment???Thanks for helping me.

If they both hurt like that, it's hormonal. It has something to do with the meds you were taking or you're pregnant. There's really not much you can do to make them feel better except wait it out.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2010): laundry soap, fabric softer, bath soap are the main things that could cause this. although you may not realize this the nipples are a very sensative area and can be prone to irritation when these irritants are brought in. so... skip the vaseoline and use neosporin. but with the clear liquid ... that deff spells pregnancy or hormones but, the neosporin will help with the healing of your nipples.. also, breast pads (diposable ones) in your bra will help. Do not go without a bra because then the fabric is free to rub your nipples raw and make it worse.
