reader, anonymous, writes (5 November 2006): Emotional connection is when you and a partner connect on a deeper intellectual level so that you understand each other easily without a lot of explanation, your sense of humor and values are very close in line, that sort of thing....you will feel strong emotions for this person and it will be reflected back to you in their eyes and their touch and their kiss if you are lucky....you will know when you have it, and you will know when it is missing.
