If it has a thick white clumpy or pasty consistancy and causes itching, it is most likely a yeast infection.
If thick and white with no itching present this is what is termed Normal discharge and it noticable in the beginning and end of your cycle.
If itching, changes of color, thinkness such as extremely clumpy like cottage cheese, or odor is present seek medical attention immediately.
Clear and watery discharge means you are fertile(mucous) and ovulating.
Brown is the color present just as the cycle ends, it's the body washing out the old blood from your system.
Spotting of blood to brown discharge can occur in the beginning of the ovualtion/mid cycle or somtimes in early pregnancy it occurs.
Normal discharge is from white to clear, thin to thick and odorless.
Evaluations are given for diagnosis considering factors like pain, itching , rashes, sores, color and consistancy. Conditions such as ovulation, menstrual flow, sexual activity and birth control can cause changes in the body fluids. Your age, medications, herb, vitamins and other medical conditions such as diabetes can also change the color and consistancy.
Diabetics get yeast infections alot because of the high sugar intake in the body.
High doses of antibiotics can also cause yeast infections to occur.
There are other signs and symptoms which can vary the diagnosis. If you are concernded about any of the above mentioned Please CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.
God Bless,
