But if you're both going your separate ways in just a year, what else can you do? Make a vow to meet up later in life? I doubt those work. Reply to this Question Share |

kitty_3 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthat's the problem: i'm going to college; he's taking a gap-year and staying at home. when he goes, we prob wouldn't end up at the same place anyway.

I'd just tell him you wanna be with him so be honest. Im in the same circumstances too but i got a nooooooo! lol.
If your with him see if he wants to make a life with you after school, find aout about his career, what college if he's going college and go to the same one. or if he's not going to college/uni just ask him about after school and see if he wants to stay with you. just try to be near him wherever he goes... and he should be doing the same.

Engage him in conversation about after high school, and then ask weather you can tell him a secret, then look him in the eye and say "i don't want to loose you after high school."
or just say it flat out if he doesn't know you like him.
That's what I'd do.

With todays technology you can keep in touch with anyone in the world at any time, so why not keep in touch with him and see how things go?
