What does this mean, what should I do?

Question - (4 November 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 4 November 2007)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay I really need help with this.

My ex-boyfriend and I "dated" for two months...although I wouldn't exactly call it dating because we didn't really get along and barely talked to each other. It was my first relationship so I didn't really know how to act.

This happened about 6 months ago...and now my ex will always say things that make me feel really uncomfortable. Like if we are going to the movies with a group of people he'll say stuff like "I want to sit next to you!" or "you can hold my hand if you get scared", or he'll ask me if i care about his feelings and then he'll laugh. I know he's just kidding but it's really awkward for me and I have no idea how to respond to it.

What does this mean/what should I do?!

Please help!!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (4 November 2007):

Tell him that you don't feel comfortable with his behaviour. If he's a good enough friend then he'll stop it and respect your wishes.

The other thing you could do is just learn to cope with it. Act confident, avoid answering the question directly or just laugh!! lol!

Enjoy life!! x
