A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey there. Ok so there is this guy who has been looking at me a lot in the beginning of the school year and all my friends told me that he might like me and i should give him a chance. I didnt think too much of him but all of a sudden, i started having this thing for him. Everytime i saw him i would get really nervous and happy and i didnt know why. Turns out he doesnt have a girlfriend and when my friend told him that i wanted to get to know him better and i thought he was cute all he said was "oh ok". To me that means he's not interested but to my friends he's just shy, and he is a really shy person so i do understand but at the same time i dont. What does this mean and what should i do ?? Thanks a lot....really do appreciate it :)

He might just be shy, so be brave and say hello to him. Also, remember that he liked you before you liked him, so he might just be nervous that your friends were having a joke or something. Just say hello and try to get to know him.
