writes:i am feelin very down right now,this has been goin on for 5 months now,my girlfriend wanted a break from me in febuary as she was feelin down and confused by bein stuck in the house all the time with no money and no job,we have sort of stayed in touch through txt,i saw her in april and talked 2 her,she said she wil get in touch when she is ready,i asked what she meant and she said that when she is ready she wants 2 give it another go,i asked her if she loved me and she said yes,i have txt her 4 times and asked if she meant it and she said she did,but lately we havent txt,i spoke 2 her on the fone a couple of weeks ago and she said she starts a new job 2day,i txt her yesterday wishin her good luck and asked her 2 let me know how it went,she hasnt got in touch,its been 5 months now and i still love her very much,i feel pysically sick and feel really down and confused,what i want 2 know is do u think she means it why is she sayin these things 2 me but dont seem 2 want 2 b in touch now?,should i just give her space like she asked and leave her 2 get in touch,all answers grateful,i really need help,thanx

reader, anonymous, writes (23 June 2008): Hey, i think...no matter how much you love this girl you should try and move on, my friend is in a similar position, i try to tell her there is no point moping around waiting for her ex boyfriend to contact her when he is ready! I understand this is easier said than done but maybe if you begin to move on with your life she might realise what she is missing and decide she wants you back for good. Possibly get in contact with her and just be honest...say straight out that u have waited long enough and need an answer because you are sick of not knowing where you stand with her...Hope my advice has helped! x
