I was actually in search of what these dreams of being chased meant. I saw that you woke up with sore legs and wanted to let you know that you aren't alone. I feel as though I have not gotten a moments rest when I wake up, and it is only compounding. I am a full-time employee and a full-time student so this is causing problems with my work and my classes because I stay so tired. I could honestly go to sleep at any time of the day and sleep for hours! I hope you find peace in your sleep!

For several years, I have had dreams of being chased. Its always someone different, but usually people I don't know. The chaser has intended to inflict harm in some of my dreams, but in others, its like I'm just trying to avoid them. However it plays out, I ALWAYS wake up sore and still tired, as though I hadn't gotten any sleep at all. I rarely remember the full details of my dreams when I wake up, and if my dreams wake me in the night, I don't have the energy to get up and write down what I remember of them. I have actually tried setting my alarm clock to go off a few hours after I fall asleep, because I always sleep better in the mornings when I turn the alarm clock off and roll over. It seemed to help the few times I did it, but I had to set our dual alarm to wake my husband, so I haven't tried that recently. It was like the alarm interrupted the craziness I was dreaming about, and when I went back to sleep the next thing I remember was waking up.

Waking up with sore legs is something I've not heard of before. You're not getting cramp are you? I would have thought that would wake you up though, cos it's *AGONY*. Do you work on your feet all day - could it just be that they're tired?? If not, and it continues, maybe you should visit the doctor?
As for the dream, if you google 'dream interpretation' there are lots of sites which claim to interpret dreams - and there are lots of dreams which have typical meanings and I'm sure being chased is one of them - although don't forget dreams rarely have simple interpretations.
Good luck!

As a frequent dreamer myself I believe that dreams carry major influeces in our every day lives, let me give you 2 examples. One day I dreamt that a car reversed into the back of the vehicle I was driving and smashed up the bonnet of my car, the next day there was a high wind outside and I got into my friends car and never realised my glasses dropped out of the bag in their case, when she reversed to move off, I heard a crunching noise and we felt a crush, guess what, it was my expensive glasses smashed to smitherines!!!! Another dream I had was about this man, I dreamt him 3 times, a man from work whom I was attracted to. In the last dream, my eyes were fixed on his left hand for most of the dream. The next day, he walks past me and all I see staring in my face was a gold wedding ring, which I never saw before!!!
Now to me your dream may suggest that you are running away from a problem, perhaps you are worried about something and you need to face up to something, but you keep putting it off and you are running as it were. I am no Doctor or Psychoanalyst, but as I said, I dream a lot, every night in fact and all my dreams carry a significance in my life.
Its common to wake up with sore legs because during REM slepp (Rapid Eye Movement) your body is in paralysis and perhaps you awoke suddenly out of your dream and your limbs have not recovered just yet. One time I dream that a man was fighting with me and he scrated me with his long claw like nails, the next day I had a scratch on my face!! Thats just because in my sleep I must have scratched myself really hard and the brain incorparted that into a vivid unusual dream!
I hope this helps. Take care xXx
