 It basically means you dont want to allow him into ur problems.. pushing him away from you, away from ur life.. ive started doing that and i have done that to my friends, thats how i know (by the way) lol talk2 him let him know how much you like him and say you dont mean to push him away (unles you do =\) mail me if u wana talk x x x

You don't give too many details, so it's hard to know why he's saying you're pushing him away. Could it be because you're coming across as being ultra needy? Do you always sound sad that you can't see him? Do you get upset if he goes out instead of talk to you?
If you could give more details, that would be great! Perhaps someone else has some insight without them, though?
