Among the usual things (eye contact, glancing, shy when I talk to her .etc) she sometimes sighs or breathes deeply when she passes by me or is in my vicinity. She is also clumsy .eg. dropping her books very often. Is the sighing a way of looking for attention or is it just her nerves? Do many girls do this?

No, not many girls do this but some do. I'm one of them. I've noticed that I sometimes sigh around someone I like to get their attention. It's a way of getting them to notice you without actually having to say anything. I don't mean to do it and he probably thinks I'm constantly tired, but she could be the same. Also, what's the best advice when you're nervous? Breathe deeply. So yes, in my opinion, it could certainly be a sign that she likes you.
On the other hand, I agree with what the others have said. Some people just breathe deeply and she could be naturally clumsy. It's all very well counting up the signs but, like CaringGuy said, if you want a real answer you'll have to ask her.

Well she might like you. But there's only one real way to find out that's to talk to her. The signs do point to her liking you, but you won't know for sure unless you talk to her.

Maybe she has asthma. It is an unusual way to attract attention in any case. Are you sure this is not just the way she breathes? I never sighed unless I was worn out and tired. I think girls only sigh to show affection in disney movies...

I would't say all girls do this, but this one might because she is nervouse. Sounds like she might like you and is trying to get your attention. If you're interested in her, maybe stop and talk to her and see what she is about.
