It means you love them enough to want to be with them for the rest of your life. It means you know that person very well and love them with all your heart and want to "give" yourself to them totally (and them to you).
Here is the dictionary's definition of the word COMMIT. To "commit" to someone or something means: give entirely to a specific person, activity, or cause.

Hi there! This would be the biggest commitment you have ever done or will ever do in your live again. It is the promise to the woman of your choice to be only with her, that you will be faithful, that you will never see someone else, especially never kiss or have sex with someone else. It is the promis to do everything for this person, to put her first and to make her happy! It is the decision to trully and deeply love this person (if you want to know what love means, give an update - i will post you an answer). It means to be responsibel not only for yourself and your life, but also for her and your life together - and maybe someday your children.Always remember that this is the promis you will not give only for one day, but for your whole life! Sot think well about it!
