It seems like pain is been my only friend :'( "we're having no problems at the moment, our relationship is growin so strong, but at the moment we're missin each other incredibly, as college is at xmas break and we cant visit as he lives so far away.however, i've messed up in the relationship a couple times, so it scares me in a way, although i know i've done nothing wrong.my friend says that it means his heart is done wrong because we are apart, and now hes in pain. i have my doubts, can i have some opinions please??  Well the best thing to do is ask him. But if you're not going through any problems right now, I doubt what he wrote had anything to do with you. Maybe there was a close friend or family member who hurt him emotionally in some way.
If that's the case, then just try to be there for him. Give him a shoulder to lean on.
